The top cross country runners in the DC Metro area
About the All RunWashington Team
Our sister media company, RunWashington, selected the area’s top coaches – the RunWashington Coaches Panel — to name the pre-season All-RunWashington Cross Country Team, the 62 best cross country athletes across Northern Virginia, DC, and parts of Maryland.
By bringing together the top coaches from all over the region, the panel served as an opportunity for coaches to share ideas and knowledge about the sport, competition, and how to support each other and other regions.

About 2015 Selection
Our 2015 All-RunWashington team was announced on August 16, 2015 at our All-RunWashington Pep Rally which helped kick off the XC season. Area high school athletes, parents, and coaches gathered at TC Williams High School to be on hand as we recognized the top 62 high school cross country athletes of 2015.
The pre-season prestigious rankings span the greater Washington DC metro area across all public, private, and charter high schools and are divided into four teams: All-RunWashington (all region team); All-Virginia; All-Maryland; All-DC.
The top athletes received a pair of special make up New Balance 5000 XC spikes and one lucky XC athlete, Rachel McArthur, was chosen to grace the cover of the Fall 2015 RunWashington Magazine. All-RunWashington team members will also be recognized at the DCXC Invite on September 26.
The New Balance 5000 XC All- RunWashington Spike
The custom, All-RunWashington spike is the top-end cross country spike made by New Balance. There’s only two ways to get your hands on one: be chosen as one of the top 62 runners as a member of our All-RunWashington Team or win one of eight varsity-level races at the DCXC Invite on September 26th.
